| A coworker of mine told me about this game and I wanted to try it out. I saw the instructions on how to get it to work with Windows Vista/7/8 but I was wondering how I would go about getting it to work with Windows 10. I'm not the most computer savvy person in the world, but if someone could point me in the right direction I'm sure I could figure it out. Thanks. | |

| It runs in compatibility mode, but the lag is unplayable. I'm still working to get it functional in Windows 10, should have it smoothed out tonight. I'll post what I find as I find it lol | |

| Alright, I'm still working to get the window larger. But right now I'm running 1920x1080 as my desktop resolution and have to use D3D-Windower to get the game to run without lag or FPS issues. http://www.fileplanet.com/198137/190000/fileinfo/D3DWindower-English-version/Download and extract those files Open D3D Windower Click the " + " button and add the Aranock.exe file Click the Folder button next to the Computer button (Says Settings when you mouse over) Change Height and Width to 50 Add the D3DHook DLL file Click the Windowed tab and uncheck DirectX 8-9 Save the settings, then click the Aranock file and hit the computer button. The window screen is small, but it's still playable for now. I'll post how to make it full screen once I figure that out lol | |

| Oldfriend, First time using the D3DWindower. I followed your steps then hit the "run" button but nothing worked | |

| I forgot to put that you have to run d3dwindower in admin mode.
But, the new client LL released seems to work without needing D3Dwindower. It works for me using the DLL files from the 1st folder

| Cue another stupid question: How do you use the .dll files? | |

| Just copy the dll files into the game folder and magic happens. It will either work or not. It appears to depend on you graphics card or other physical configuration. Note that you still need to run in compatibility mode.

| Hey all.. I'm new here, but have followed the instructions in this thread and gotten it to work. Has anybody figured out how to make the window bigger yet still have the mouse cursor work in the correct position? | |

| I just recently downloaded the game less than a month ago. In the new Aranock files there is a direct draw fix. I opened it up amd put files in Aranock root directory. Worked without lag and issues for me on Win 10. No compatibility mode or anything else. Only thing is i can't tab out so i use my second monitor to help me multi-task | |

| Have you tried: 1. Run in XP Compatibility mode. 2. Copy the .dll files from folder Fix 1 to the main Aranock folder. Run the game. 3. If that does not work then delete the files you copied and copy the files from Fix2 to the Aranock folder. Run the game.
If neither of these fixes work then we need to look further.
