I was on lvl 24/20 with my BS and i then proceeded to get roughly 100 successes.

My new rank was 24/20...it had not changed.

Is there a certain way to rank up?

Once you hit a certain lvl can you only rank up by doing harder profession lvls?

Im a bit confused. Could any1 pls help.

It depends on what recipe you use. The recipes you use must be within an 11 level range to go towards your success counter.

It is as Asmodeus says. You will still get a lower amount of xp for items that are not in that 11 level range. It will also show a little red tag line that says something like, "you no longer receive experience for the item. Try a harder object."
