| Im not sure if you have a min req needed to actually harvest an item so I may need to correct this later or update it. PM me as needed. A guide for raising a harvester / craftsman. It is HIGHLY recommended you get 150 mod barter and 200 mod profession. This gives you the lowest buy prices, full sell price (same as buy) and 100% chance when making an item. Failing to make an item gives no exp and more importantly no profession level. There are 30 sub levels per level. (Level / Sub). Need 150 successes per 5 levels. As a rule of thumb most things take 5 minutes to respawn and come in sets of 5. You'll get roughly 1 item per minute. Needing 150 for 5 levels. This means 2.5 hours for 5 levels if it needs one item. Realistically with talking, looting graves, combining in inventory and walking around..human error..etc. It will take closer to 5.0H. For things that require 2 items youre looking at closer to 10 hours +/- for 5 profession levels. This is slightly over stated but a good rule of thumb to use. Blacksmith is the ultimate goal of most of the professions. It is essentially SSed armor, however it can be done to wands, shields..etc too that can't normally be SSed by other means. The + on the items is based off of your mod Blacksmith. This means you will want to hit 255 as your ultimate goal when Blacksmithing items at the highest levels. The seyan is the best blacksmith with the necro very close behind. - The math behind blacksmith:
I base this off of their natural max mods. As of this exact moment, I do not have a formula for how much mod = how much +. Blacksmith is modded by BIA (Brave, Intel, Agil) In theory, the seyan is actually the best blacksmith since there is usually a sorc or warrior around to hit you with a bless. *Sniff* That really should say sorc or AH haha. Every class can get 120 base profession. - Natural BS mod at Warlord:
75+120+30 = 225 AH 90+30+120 = 240 AT 75 + 105 + 60 = 240 Sorc 75 + 60 + 105 = 240 Warrior 120+ 60 + 85 = 265 Necro 90+90+90= 270 Seyan
225/5 = 45 AH 240/5 = 48 AT, Sorc, War 265/5 = 53 Necro 270/5 = 54 Seyan
120+45 = 165 AH 120+48 = 168 AT, Sorc, War 120+53 = 173 Necro 120+54 = 174 Seyan
- Add Bless:
bless/4 = +to bwias
Mod bless + class bonus = Final bless power 255 * .95 = 242.25 Seyan, Necro 255 * 1.05 = 267.75 AT 255 * 1.10 = 280.50 AH 255 * 1.15 = 293.25 War, Sorc
Final Bless Power/4 + BWIAS 242.25/4 = 60.5625 Seyan, Necro 267.75/4 = 66.9375 AT 280.50/4 = 70.125 AH 293.25/4 = 73.3125 War, Sorc
Extra BWIAS from bless \ 5 = Extra BS from bless 60.5625/5 = 12.1125 Seyan, Necro -5% 66.9375/5 = 13.3875 AT +5% 70.125/5 = 14.0250 AH +10% 73.3125/5 = 14.6625 War, Sorc +15%
- Natural WL mod + Natural Bless:
This does require a bit of imagination since I dont often see ATs with 255 bless 165 + 14.0250 = 179.025 AH 168 + 13.3875 = 181.3875 AT 168 + 14.6625 = 182.6625 Sorc / Warrior 173 + 12.1125 = 185.1125 Necro 174 + 12.1125 = 186.1125 Seyan - Using another's bless:
165 + 12.1125 = 176.1125 AH w/ Sorc 168 + 14.0250 = 182.0250 AT w/ AH 168 + 14.6625 = 182.6625 AT w/ Sorc 173 + 13.3875 = 186.3875 Necro w/ AT 173 + 14.0250= 187.0250 Necro w/ AH 173 + 14.6625 = 187.6625 Necro w/ Sorc Seyan, +1 more than necro
Worst case scenario: 60.5625 + 168 = 228.5625 / AT + 255 seyan or necro bless. Best case scenario: Class + sorc bless = Mod BS. +14.6625 14.6625 + 165 = 179.6625 AH 14.6625 + 168 = 182.6625 AT, Sorc, War 14.6625 + 173 = 187.6625 Necro 14.6625 + 174 = 188.6625 Seyan
- Drugs..etc:
73.3125 + 174 = 247.3125 / Seyan + 255 sorc bless rpot +12. bwi 12*3= 36. 36/5 = 7.2 gpot +18. 18*3= 54. \5 = 10.8 dpot +24. *3= 72. \5 = 14.4
Huge Saph on gold Unactivated 6*3=18, Turned Off 18\5 = +3.6 Mod BS
12*3=36 Turned on 36\5 = +7.2 Mod BS
dpot + rings off = +21.6 Mod BS
Even on dpot that puts most classes just over 200 mod BS. Of course this does not account for +BIA SSed gear, winged boots or other items. As you can see, even a seyan with max stats, on a sorc's bless with 255 mod will not reach 255 BS undrugged. Most items when made will require dozens of them to be made back to back as of the randomness of the stats.. thus I would get used to having pots handy if you plan on being a BS. Class matters. [/spoiler] *********************************************************************************** Harvester: I recommend this if you are only going to do one profession or as a first profession. People that have crafting / BS are not going to want to collect the materials to make your gear. If you have a choice I would save sorc/AH for BS and crafter as they are likely to get 200 mod profession easier and you don't want to fail on the 2nd and 3rd tier items in my opinion. After doing a lot of number crunching. I believe the ideal way using no more than 1 type of each class is to have a Sorc harvester, an AH crafter, a seyan Blacksmith. I find it easiest to keep things in their natural groups of 5 or 6, then add those into the 'main pile' of 20 so I dont miss one not paying attention, especially on wolves and lizards. When at the merchants I find it quick if you have a full inventory. This means you do not have to pickup the scroll you buy to use it. Simply scroll > profession > add to stack. With 200 mod you know you will not fail so you can do this semi quickly without waiting to see if there is something to add to the stack. Mines: There is a decent chance of huge gems / plat in there. *********************************************************************************** - Harvester Only #1:
Run the witches tower. Depending on how fast you kill, I recommend running up 4 levels and collecting as you go. Then run back to the level you started on.
1st tower trip: red / blue / silver / gold 2nd tower trip: Emerald Gem / Green / Rainbow 3rd tower trip: Sun / Huge Green / Silk
Depending on your level, it might be easier to get the Sun Crystal on your 2nd trip. Naturally the higher you go in the tower, the slower you will kill and the higher chance of death you have so its good to space it out a little.
As it stand now
0: Red Crystal 5: Blue Crystal 10: Silver 15: 20: Gold 25: Emerald Gem, Green Crystal 30: Rainbow Crystal 35: Sun Crystal 40: Huge Green Crystal 45: Silk Filament
- Harvester Only #2:
Harvester only, witch tower fire/water crystals for 0 to 10 or 15 is a solid choice.
5-10, use 150 Lizard Hide Can produce sapling, blue crystal.
Priority: Cotton and lizard still. Also add sapling, I would get try to use the sapling (soft wood) to reach 15 as you will not be using it to get level 10.
10-15, use 150 Branch Can produce branch and mine Tin/Copper, Silver (crystal silver). Dont do mine, its horrible. I would get try to use the sapling (soft wood) to reach 15 and get enough branches to go all the way from 15 to 20
15-20, use 150 Aged Wood Can produce aged wood. Priority: Harvester only, go for the sapling (soft wood) and just regular wood (wood) and aged (hard) over and over.
Aged wood can take you from 20 to 25 so get enough branches (wood) to go 15 to 20 and collect the aged wood at the same time so you can jump a solid 10 levels quickly. Aged wood is likely to be faster than mining, but only if you dont spend it all getting to 20.
Optional: While youre waiting you can kill the lizards x2 if you want to add to your stock pile for trade or sale since there is nothing to do while you wait.
20-25, use 150 Aged Wood You can harvest coal/iron, gold ore (crystal gold). I recommend skipping the mining and sticking to the aged wood.
25-30, use 150 Iron ore Can harvest/mine Gold, emerald.
It seems at this point youll be forced into the mines. For either iron or to get gold ore (not the gold from the witches tower) to get your crafter over level 25.
30-35 Can harvest/mine stones, rainbow crystal.
35-40 Can harvest/mine lead and sand, Sun Crystal.
40-45 Can harvest/mine titanium, huge green crystal.
45+ Can harvest silk.
- 0 to 5:
Can produce Cotton Reel and Lizard hide, red crystal. Priority: Cotton and lizard skins are what will rank you. Grab the wolf skins even if you can't use them, same for sapling (will get you from 10 - 15).
It may be worth while to do cotton 0 to 10 and save the lizard skins. I'll have to go back and look at that.
The wolf hides will be needed heavily by mid level crafters. The sapling trees are great for blacksmiths to gain their first few levels.
Harvester only, witch tower fire/water crystals for 0 to 10 or 15 is a solid choice.
- 5 - 10:
Can produce sapling, blue crystal.
Priority: Cotton and lizard still. Also add sapling, I would get try to use the sapling (soft wood) to reach 15 as you will not be using it to get level 10.
Youll have to harvest a lot of wolfs if youre going to make a crafter. If youre not going to make a crafter they are good sell/trade material. Your original 2 items should still be giving you +level until 10.
- 10 - 15:
Can produce branch and mine Tin/Copper, Silver (crystal silver). Dont do mine, its horrible. I would get try to use the sapling (soft wood) to reach 15 and get enough branches to go all the way from 15 to 20
Crafter: I recommend just going from 10 to 20 using Wood blank. I personally find the lizard easier to collect than the wolf. Though realistically you could go 10 to 15 with Wood Blank, then 15 to 17.5 with wood blank. Then switch to Hard Wood Blank for 17.5 to 25.
- 15 - 20:
Can produce aged wood. Priority: Harvester only, go for the wood and just regular wood (wood) and aged (hard) over and over.
From about this point on youll be using wolf hides. You won't get level for them, but you'll need them as a crafter for his level 15-25.
- 20 - 25:
You can harvest coal/iron, gold ore (crystal gold). I recommend skipping the mining and sticking to the aged wood.
- 25 - 30:
Can harvest/mine Gold, emerald.
It seems at this point youll be forced into the mines. For either iron or to get gold ore (not the gold from the witches tower) to get your crafter over level 25.
- 30 - 35:
Can harvest/mine stones, rainbow crystal. Gold Ore + Mercury Vile seems to be the best way to go here, its likely easier to skip emme all together in the leveling process.
- 35 - 40:
Can harvest/mine lead and sand, Sun Crystal.
Lead appears relatively often and sand is on set timer/respawn amount so that should be predictable and easy. Make crystal to reach 40.
- 40 - 45:
Can harvest/mine titanium, huge green crystal. Make tit to reach 45-50
- 45+:
Can harvest silk.
Shields make for easy blacksmithing items, but are a nightmare for the crafter side. Thus I recommend staves. Once you start focusing on your BS you'll find it easy to get all three types of wood in an almost continuous run that will shoot your BS through the roof. The second half of this involves running up and down witch tower all day long to go with the wood. Im too lazy to input the exact amounts of each item. If someone wants to do the math on it all I'll plug it in.
