| When did the pent point values change and why? Somebody mentioned it was changed when you could hit 6 pents, but surely as we can no longer hit 6 it should revert back to the old figures?

| I would also recommend lowering the random value from 6 to say 5. That would make solves at 10 pents maximum, so players wouldn't have to go out of the area they are penting in. | |

| Rahvin, the way it is now, with the random value at 7, making for a max solve of 12, there is still only a couple zones where you might have to step to another zone to grab 1. and those zones that don't have 12 pents are so small that it's not even any more walking than if you were in a different zone that DID have 12 pents. I think random value is perfect the way it is, you don't want everyone to rank too fast right? | |

| I think the old saying "if it aint broke, dont fix it" applies here...i havent noticed anything wrong with pents and havent seen alot of ppl complaining so I agree with johndave. | |

| If it wasent broken to start with, why did they change it then?
If it's true that they changed it to 6 pents and lowered the point values then fair enough, but if they changed it to 6 pents, dropped the point values, decided the 6 pents wasen't working and did a half revert returning it to 5 pents but leaving the pent vales at the lower rate then they did "Fix" something that wasent broken.
This isen't a rant, it was a simple question. I'ts their game and they can set what they want how they want to set it, it might even just be an oversight and it was meant to bet set back to the old values, it might even have been discussed on the old boards i dont know i was away for a few years.

| The current pent solve and experience per pent was set before my tome on the admin team so I can not comment on those changes or their rationale.
The only change that I made was to limit solo solves to a max of 12 pents instead of the previous 14. Given that it ranges from 5-12 for a solo penter does not appear to be unreasonable to me. If we lowered the max then I would also probably increase the minimum. | |

| Ahh i think i did not explain myself well, The top 5 Grolm pents used to give just over 10k exp, now i believe its something like 8k. thats what i mean by grolm pent points.
