| Hi folks,
This is now live on our test server and is undergoing testing.
Once we feel it is stable and balanced, we will convert it to the public server. No time-table for when it will be ready, depends on how many bugs need to be stomped on.

| Yes and no.
The server side and client side changes are ready to go live. I have hit a problem with the CGI side which is causing me a problem and this is taking longer to fix. | |

| The Max Power limit can now be changed dynamically in game by a builder.
We will be experimenting in game over the next few weeks on how much to adjust the max limit from the current 255 or to effectively remove it altogether (make it a very big number).
This was the prime reason for the new client (to allow > 255).
Note that we also effectively have the ability to lower it for specific purposes (say Max Power = 30) although we will need to experiment on how long players and NPCs change to the new max.
The default in the client is now walls down. This had always bugged me that new players started will walls up and could not see properly.
There were also a few small bug fixes updated at the same time. | |

| In the download dated today, I also included 2 subfolders.
These are two alternate fixes for the missing DDdraw software that Bill Gates removed from Windows 8.
Just try and copy the files into the game folder. If it works then all is good. If not then delete the files and try the other fix. Fix1 works on my PC. Fix 2 works on other PCs. It may depend on your configuration and graphics cards.
Note, still run in WinXP compatibility mode.

| I wonder what would happen is we had an LQ with the cap at 50 ...
We may need to test it first before death reigned down from on high. | |
