| I believe the idea was to have atleast two ppl do it, preferably three to even out the children and the baby sitting responcabilities. Did you finish solo? If so, congrats. | |

| Yes I do solo it after a couple hours and bouncing around all over the place. Actually in that pic I had gone back because I thought I missed a key *smh*. I had intended to have aid meet me, however he couldnt because he did not have a kid with him to catch up to me..
Escort or not, that still doesnt help that the kids have perfect LOS on me and will not move when they are supposed to. They need a /summonGC command until the following / LOS issue with GC is fixed IMHO. |

| George, Julie and James already had infravision. I have increased their base perceprtion from 20 to 150. Now they can really see in the darrk.
I have had a few quick attempts to fix the GC follow code. I have found and fixed a few relarively small issues but the core problem remains. To debug it is not a trivial task given the way it is written.
See if the extra perception assists. | |

| I'll let you know, the other thing I found odd.. was walking around with two Georges. I hit a recall trap and of course I couldn't get back to my first one without getting the 2nd one. Which was nice since I was forced to start over.. until I got up the ladder and all 4 surrounded the Elder and began ripping them a new one and I could do nothing but stand and watch. Lucky for me it was on of the georges that died. |

| I noticed something quite related to this while in prison. I comped the seyans just after levers, the Secret police. Yet oddly enough one did not come to me to move into range to transfer after the others did. I transfered the others.. plenty of room and a clear path to me.. he still did not come. Light. Didnt help. Bless for extra perception, did not help. I took a few steps to him leaving about a 5 square gap. He did transfer on command.
The room before with the two, I transferred one then comped the 2nd. The 2nd would not follow me. But when I stunned him, he unstunned and attacked me.
These two things tell me they are in visable range. Which means that 'walking' and 'attacking' and 'transfering' some how use different rules for identifying if they can see me. If you can find the difference between these three I have no doubt the bug will become abundantly clear.
Also I don't know if its true all the time, but lately whenever I have issues with my GC or comp not following it seems to be nighttime ingame. Like between 6pm and 6am ish. Like right now in the castle just outside the two AH earls you cannot comp. I and my GC have light on. If I walk around him he will turn to face me rather than follow me or walk.. but then at random he will suddenly break free and behave just like in cave. |

| Happens at night in game most times? Maybe there is some how the darkness of game night is affecting things for gcs regardless of light spell and perception. Just a thought that occured to me, a shot in the dark if you will | |

| 2:46 /time when it happened this time. Around 3:30 he seemed to pop back to normal, but they do tht sometimes even when still bugged. After that my B2 made him attack me so I couldnt test much after that. Again, they always move 100% fine when they are attacking things though. Its like it does a next cord obstacle check only instead of a LOS obstacle check or something. Because they do turn in place so they know where you are... He respawned around 6:30.. no huge problems with it. Seriously copy/paste me all relevant code in a PM and I will identify the bug and fix it >.< |

| The code is untouched as per the original astonia v2 code. | |

| I do not ever remember having problems like this in V2. GCs would occasionally not follow, but a brief walk over to them and light would fix it.
..all the same I'll eventually put it out of the code. This bugs the crap out of me. |

| In what ways are comps and GCs similar and different exactly? |

| I have not tried doing a line by line comparison of the code from V2 with the current version. I am not aware of any changes made since then but I can not categorically say it has not been altered. | |

| Wait, was comp actually in the V2 code..?? I know it wasn't a player command, but is this just a god command that was transferred over? Or has comp been created from scratched (I use it loosely since I am sure B1 was probably the starting point for B2) like B2? |

| Comps use the same logic as GCs, same code basicly. You can just have more of them. | |
