People AFK in pents (Sourdeez)

AFK in pents for multiple solves... doesn't touch 1 pent, doesn't respond to tells. Please lay the hammer down, sick of this kind of crap.

I gathered 22 soulstones while "afk". ever consider I just didn't want to talk to you?

You know what? I'm typically a pretty nice/levelheaded/understanding guy... penting slow is one thing and I accept that.

However, you touched 0 pents MULTIPLE solves in a row, I know this because I was talking to snakebite about it, as he was in pents, I thought it was just the two of us because of high/slow solves... so I was trying to figure it out. We both had accounted for touching every pent in multiple solves... meaning you didnt touch any.

Even penting incredibly slow couldnt have been that slow, you didnt touch a pent for 4-5 solves, at least.

Conveniently didnt answer tells/shouts/touched no pents too huh? Clearly you were there!

I was chatting with Grave & Rmcin the whole time, ask them. also solved a few times but I guess you didn't notice? I can't solve without grabbing pents. Why are you so quick to post about this on forum? snitching without evidence is a filthy habit.

Chatting isnt penting, and Grave wasn't even on until you were already afk for 5 solves or so.

I understand your accusations, but they are false. logs will show me actively hitting pents, scooping up soulstones, chatting with other players, SOLVING the pentagram quest. just ignoring you. I have no idea what those screenies are supposed to prove?

ultimately the logs are going to be packed and it is not an easy job.

I think its pretty clear that people hate it when they break "pentiquette".

The way I look at it, if people arnt pulled up for things no matter if they are right or wrong just so long as the light is shone on the issues at hand it stops people from abusing the system to gain unfair advantages.

Just because it might not of happened in a while does not mean that it hasnt happened before. Alot of people abused the clan system initially when it was released which divided the community.

Ultimately if everyone treats this like adults you can go "Okay, the matter is settled lets just move on."

I can say that when I'm hunting for soulstones It can sometimes take me awhile to look at all of the graves of my kills. At my rank I can literally fill the areas with graves over time. I try to do this when no one else is penting in an attempt not to slow folks down. That being said there are times when you don't get what you want. many a time I've been on the other end of the equation while others are hunting stones. I elected to either make the best of it or pent another time.  Gameplay does not revolve around the player, it revolves around the players. Let's all try to remember that. Communication is also key. Ignoring a player by not speaking to them may not cause them to go away, but may only increase the magnitude of the problem.

There are certain players that I find annoying and distasteful and prefer not to interact with. It's unavoidable and unrealistic to think it's possible to so forever. I just try to keep my interaction to a minimum and be polite and brief. To do otherwise is not conducive to peaceful gameplay and bad for the game as a whole. Who's really interested getting into a pissing match with another player only to cause problems for not only themselves but those who get caught in the midst of the arguing?

1. Try to be considerate of other players. This goes both ways and applies to everyone.
2. Be mindful of the astronaut you kick today, you may find yourself forced to kiss it tomorrow.

I think as a community we need to start using staff to report problems. If you feel like some wrong has been done maybe posting it on the forum isn't the best idea. A quick PM to me or another staff member will get the problem looked into without having people going back and forth at each other.

Posting this type of stuff on the forums is unacceptable. If you have something to report, do it through the private messages of some type. These kind of complaints will not be smeared all over the forums like they have been lately. I am tired of seeing it and I personally consider it to fit under the harrassment rule. This level of harrassment is never acceptable and will be treated accordingly.
